*Android Compatibility List
Due to segmentation of Android and the hardware design, we cannot guarantee the compatibility of HRT microStreamer with every Android phone. We have tested HRT microStreamer to work with the following phones:
- Samsung Galaxy S3/S4/S5/S6/S6 Edge
- Samsung Note 2/3/4/Edge
- LG G2 Pro/G3, Nexus 7
- HTC OnePlus One/ HTC 816
- Sony Xperia Z1/Z2/Z3/Z3+
Some phones like HTC M7/M8 and OnePlus One will disable volume control at USB audio operation (Volume key can only turn on or off USB audio output) in Android Version under 5.0. If you use it with a headphone, there is no way to control output volume level (which is set at the maximum level and may be harmful to your ears). If you connect to an external powered speaker or amplifier with volume control, it should work well. Most of the phones will play with latency noise if the Android version under 5.0 and few of the phone e.g. Google Nexus Series cannot play with microstreamer without using USB Audio Recorder Pro, but most of the phones should work well without USB Audio Recorder Pro after upgraded to Android Version 5.0 or later. If you face any problem while using microstreamer with Android phones, please purchase and install USB Audio Recorder Pro to solve the problem.
